Today, we are going to learn Chapter 7-1: talk about one’s favorite season.

Korean Meaning
칼로: 자야 씨는 무슨 계절을 좋아해요? Jaya, what season do you like?
Jaya, anong season ang gusto mo?
자야: 저는 여름을 좋아해요. I like summer.
Gusto ko ng tag-init.
칼로: 몽골의 겨울은 어때요? How is winter in Mongolia?
Kumusta ang taglamig sa Mongolia?
자야: 몽골의 겨울은 너무 추워요. Winter in Mongolia is very cold.
Sobrang lamig ng taglamig sa Mongolia.

💡 Nova’s Tip

Some adjectives with batchim ‘ㅂ’ change it to ‘우’ before a vowel ending — 춥다→추워요, 덥다→더워요. But regular ones like 잡다, 입다, 좁다 do NOT change!

🇵🇭 Ang ilang adjectives na may batchim na ‘ㅂ’ ay nagiging ‘우’ bago ang vowel ending — 춥다→추워요, 덥다→더워요. Pero ang regular tulad ng 잡다, 입다, 좁다 ay HINDI nagbabago!
