📌 1. The Dialogue

Korean Meaning
마두: 내일 공항에 가야 돼요. 회사에서 공항까지 어떻게 가요? I need to go to the airport tomorrow. How do I get to the airport from the office?
Kailangan kong pumunta sa airport bukas. Paano pumunta sa airport mula sa opisina?
진수: 버스로 가요. You can go by bus.
Sakay ka ng bus.
마두: 몇 번 버스를 타야 돼요? Which bus should I take?
Anong bus ang dapat kong sakyan?
진수: 회사 앞 버스 정류장에서 100번 버스를 타세요. Take bus number 100 at the bus stop in front of the office.
Sumakay ka ng bus number 100 sa bus stop sa harap ng opisina.
마두: 공항까지 버스로 얼마나 걸려요? How long does it take to get to the airport by bus?
Gaano katagal papunta sa airport gamit ang bus?
진수: 1시간쯤 걸려요. It takes about 1 hour.

‘(으)로’ after a transportation word means ‘by’ — 버스로, 지하철로. Use it to say HOW you’re getting somewhere!

Korean Meaning
아궁: 늦어서 미안해요. 퇴근 시간이라서 차가 조금 막혔어요. Sorry for being late. The traffic was a bit heavy because it was rush hour.
Pasensya na sa pagiging late. Medyo may trapik dahil rush hour.
자하라: 괜찮아요. 여기까지 버스를 타고 왔어요? It’s okay. Did you come by bus?
Ayos lang. Sumakay ka ba ng bus papunta dito?
아궁: 네. 자하라 씨는 어떻게 왔어요? Yes. How did you come, Zahara?
Oo. Ikaw, Zahara, paano ka nakarating?
자하라: 저는 회사가 가까워서 걸어왔어요. My workplace is close, so I walked.
Malapit ang opisina ko, kaya naglakad ako.
아궁: 회사에서 얼마나 걸렸어요? How long did it take from work?
Gaano katagal mula sa opisina?
자하라: 20분쯤 걸렸어요. It took about 20 minutes.
