📌 1. What is 에?

combines with a place noun to show where a person or object exists.
🇵🇭 Idinidikit ang 에 sa pangngalan ng lugar upang ipakita kung saan naroroon ang isang tao o bagay.

[Basic pattern] [Place] + 에
Good news — no batchim rule this time! 에 stays exactly the same no matter what the last letter is.

This simply means: “in/at [Place].”

Korean Meaning (English / Tagalog)
왕민은 사무실 있어요. 🇺🇸 Wangmin is in the office.
🇵🇭 Nasa opisina si Wangmin.
침대는 방 있어요. 🇺🇸 The bed is in the room.
🇵🇭 Nasa kwarto ang kama.
거실 소파가 있어요. 🇺🇸 There is a sofa in the living room.
🇵🇭 May sofa sa sala.
부엌 냉장고가 있어요. 🇺🇸 There is a refrigerator in the kitchen.
🇵🇭 May refrigerator sa kusina.
💡 Quick tip: Unlike 은/는, 이에요/예요, and 이/가 (which all change based on batchim), 에 NEVER changes. One less rule to memorize — enjoy the break!
