Today, we are going to learn Chapter 3-2: talk about where a person or object is.
After this lesson, you will be able to talk about where a person or object is in Korean.

Korean Meaning
마두: 닛차난 씨는 어디에 있어요? Where is Nitchanan?
Nasaan si Nitchanan?
자하라: 식당에 있어요. She’s at the restaurant.
Nasa restaurant siya.
마두: 아지자 씨도 식당에 있어요? Is Aziza also at the restaurant?
Nasa restaurant din ba si Aziza?
자하라: 아니요, 아지자 씨는 미용실에 있어요. No, Aziza is at the hair salon.
Hindi, nasa hair salon si Aziza.

💡 Nova’s Tip

The particle ‘에’ after a place word always means ‘at/in/to’ that place — 식당에, 미용실에, 학교에 — just attach it directly to the place name!

🇵🇭 Ang particle na ‘에’ pagkatapos ng lugar ay palaging nangangahulugang ‘sa’ lugar na iyon — 식당에, 미용실에, 학교에 — idugtong lang ito sa pangalan ng lugar!
