🇵🇭 Teka muna! Mas madali ang grammar kapag alam mo na ang mga salita — kung hindi mo pa naaral ang Chapter 13-1 Vocabulary (Weekend Activities), i-memorize muna ito! Ngayon, aralin natin ang -(으)ㄹ 거예요, kung paano pag-usapan ang mga balak sa hinaharap.

📌 1. What is -(으)ㄹ 거예요?

-(으)ㄹ 거예요 is attached to a verb to show a future plan or intention.
🇵🇭 Idinidikit ang -(으)ㄹ 거예요 sa isang pandiwa upang ipakita ang balak o layunin sa hinaharap.

[Basic pattern]
✅ Verb stem WITH a Final Consonant (받침 O) 👉 + -을 거예요 (e.g., 먹다 → 먹을 거예요)
✅ Verb stem WITHOUT a Final Consonant, or 받침 ‘ㄹ’ 👉 + -ㄹ 거예요 (e.g., 가다 → 갈 거예요)

💡 TIP: A second meaning for “he/she/it”
When the subject is “I” or “you,” this pattern shows a plan or intention. But when the subject is someone ELSE (3rd person), it shows a GUESS or speculation instead!
🇵🇭 Kapag ang paksa ay “ako” o “ikaw,” ipinapakita ng pattern na ito ang balak o layunin. Pero kapag ang paksa ay IBANG TAO (3rd person), nagiging HULA o pag-aakala ito!
Example: 프엉은 지금 회사에 있을 거예요. (Pheung is probably at work right now. — a guess, not Pheung’s own plan)

💡 Remember: “Stem” means removing -다 first! Full explanation in Chapter 4-1.
🇵🇭 Tandaan: tinatanggal muna ang -다 para makuha ang “stem”! Buong paliwanag sa Chapter 4-1.

기숙사에서 쉴 거예요.	🇺🇸 I’m going to rest at the dorm. 🇵🇭 Magpapahinga ako sa dorm.
가: 주말에 뭐 할 거예요? 나: 한국어를 공부할 거예요.	🇺🇸 A: What will you do this weekend? B: I’ll study Korean. 🇵🇭 Ano ang gagawin mo sa weekend? / Mag-aaral ako ng Korean.
고향 음식을 만들 거예요.	🇺🇸 I’m going to make food from my hometown. 🇵🇭 Magluluto ako ng pagkaing galing sa bayan ko.

💡 Quick tip: Same batchim rule you know! (Batchim O = 을 거예요, Batchim X/ㄹ = ㄹ 거예요). The real trick here isn’t the ending — it’s checking WHO the subject is.
