Today, we are going to learn Chapter 9-1: order food.

Korean Meaning
점원: 어서 오세요. 뭐 드시겠어요? Welcome! What would you like to eat?
Maligayang pagdating! Ano po ang gusto ninyong kainin?
아궁: 저는 비빔밥 주세요. I would like bibimbap, please.
Bibimbap po.
아미나: 저는 김치찌개 주세요. I would like kimchi stew, please.
Kimchi stew po.
점원: 네, 알겠습니다. Okay, understood.
Opo, sige po.
아궁: 물도 좀 주세요. Please give us some water as well.
Tubig din po.

💡 Nova’s Tip

‘주세요’ (please give me) is one of the most useful phrases in Korean — just say the item name + 주세요 anywhere, anytime you need something!

🇵🇭 Ang ‘주세요’ (pakibigay po) ay isa sa pinaka-kapaki-pakinabang na parirala sa Korean — sabihin lang ang pangalan ng item + 주세요 kahit saan, kahit kailan kailangan mo ng kahit ano!
