| 프엉: 생일이 언제예요? | When is your birthday? Kailan ang birthday mo? |
| 다라: 5월 20일이에요. | It’s May 20th. May 20 po. |
| 프엉: 생일에 뭐 했어요? | What did you do on your birthday? Ano ang ginawa mo sa birthday mo? |
| 다라: 친구가 기숙사에 왔어요. 케이크를 먹었어요. | My friend came to the dormitory. We ate cake. Pumunta ang kaibigan ko sa dorm. Kumain kami ng cake. |

💡 Nova’s Tip
‘-았/었-‘ turns any verb into the past tense — 자다→잤어요, 먹다→먹었어요, 일하다→일했어요. Just match the vowel type of the stem!
🇵🇭 Ang ‘-았/었-‘ ay ginagawang past tense ang kahit anong verb — 자다→잤어요, 먹다→먹었어요, 일하다→일했어요. Itugma lang ang vowel ng stem!
