|---|---|
| 자하라: 유진 씨, 이건 뭐예요? | Yujin, what is this? Yujin, ano ito? |
| 유진: 달력이에요. | It’s a calendar. Kalendaryo ito. |
| 자하라: 저건 뭐예요? | What is that? Ano iyon? |
| 유진: 아, 저건 시계예요. | Oh, that’s a clock. Ay, orasan iyon. |

💡 Nova’s Tip
In spoken Korean, ‘이것은/그것은/저것은’ are almost always shortened to ‘이건/그건/저건’ — and ‘이것이/그것이/저것이’ become ‘이게/그게/저게’. Textbooks use the full form, but native speakers always use the short one!
🇵🇭 Sa pasalitang Korean, ang ‘이것은/그것은/저것은’ ay halos palaging pinaiikli sa ‘이건/그건/저건’ — at ang ‘이것이/그것이/저것이’ ay nagiging ‘이게/그게/저게’. Ginagamit ng textbook ang buong anyo, pero laging ginagamit ng mga katutubong nagsasalita ang maikling anyo!
